Charles is right. The content in your document needs to occupy different rows in order for it to convert easily into the tabbed layout you were hoping for.

An easy way to do this is to copy the table and paste it into Excel. You can then copy this content back into Word and do a Paste Special > Text Only to get the right format for taking to Indesign
