Am I right that you can't link notes to a web page automatically if you are in a table?

I was struggling to work out why OneNote 2013 wasn't linking to the web page in docked mode and then clicked out of the table and it worked again immediately.

Is there any way to do this automatically or do I have to manually open links and paste in the URL? I would like to organise research items in tables as it is so much neater than free texting.
