Default Automatically have Percent Complete filled by Excel data

I was wondering if there was a way that percent complete could be changed based on information that is documented in an Excel spreadsheet.

Right now an Excel document is used to keep up with how many of our products are being processed. I was hoping to use this data to determine the percent complete.
