Damn! I had missed that. I prepare all my add-ins for publication in Word 2013, and at some point I must have opened and saved it in Word 2010 before publishing and I had missed this anomaly. It shouldn't affect the use of the add-in, but it needs fixing (P.S. now fixed).

This issue however results from a Word 2013 document being opened and then saved as 2010. The 'missing' text is still present but not displayed in compatibility mode. It is hard to see how this would occur had the document been created in Word 2010 and then ported to 2013. Word is backward compatible. It is not forward compatible.
