my father is using outlook 2007 and pop3 to collect his emails. he made the mistake of using a comparison site!!! so is receiving loads of emails

His inbox refuses to show emails older than two weeks ago and only goes back to 24/1/2015 it lists 1962 unread emails.

however his unread mail box does go back june last year and also shows 1962 unread emails


his unread email box shows 1962 and goes back to june last year.


I've changed the view by turning of the group option ie today, yesterday, this week etc and that fixed nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas
