That simply isn't true. The number of Section breaks, if any, is of no consequence whatsoever for macro under the heading
Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files. The
Mailmerge Tips & Tricks thread also has another macro, under the heading
Split Merged Output to Separate Documents, and that one allows you to specify however many Sections there are per letter. Either way, your needs are covered.
