There may be a simple solution to this. I've just tested it out briefly.

Put all your words in a single column on one tab, from A1 to A330.

On another tab, enter =Sheet1!A1 into A1, =Sheet1!A56 into B1, ... , =Sheet1!A276 into F1. Select A1:F1, copy and paste from row 2 to 55.

To delete a word, delete the contents of any cell you want in the first sheet. Do not delete the actual cells (if this distinction is unclear, let me know) as this will automatically change the references in the other sheet. In the blank cells, enter your new words. Sort the column and voila, the second sheet is ready to go!
