yes the video helpful and gave me more insight into the file locations.

however, i still had the same problem with when i right clicked of word or excel it showed the recent files. most would enjoy this feature but i found it annoying.

yea....finally figured it out.....
when going into customize properties and the recent items box, near the bottom it asks how many recent you want to keep and how many jump lists...that is the KEY
i clicked "0" for jump lists and it cleared all up.
