in word2007, right click, I have way too many recent files.
i want to delete them all as I rarely use that feature for accessing my files.
i have tried below suggestions but that does not work
Start the 2007 Office program.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Program_name Options.
- In the left pane, click Advanced.
- Under Display, type 0 in the Show this number of Recent Documents box.
- Click OK.
I changed my recent documents from 17 to zero and clicked OK.
i even did a restart to see if that made a difference.
not a huge deal but frustrating that I am not successful with this simple procedure.
hope someone can help.
once i get word fixed then i can work on excel and mayb powerpoint which i assume is generally the same logic.
