Hello everyone

I'm line editing a short novel, about 57,000 words. I'm 90% of the way through. Typically as I've edited, the word count has changed so that when I closed out yesterday I had reduced the number of words by 15%, and the number of pages had expanded to account for tracked changes. The word and page count at the lower left-hand corner of the screen reflected the new word and page count. Suddenly today Word has decided that I don't need to know what the new word count is. It has reverted to the original word and page count, and I can't seem to get back to what was showing yesterday.

I don't remember doing anything differently than what I've been doing over the last several weeks. What changed?
