You could always setup the print area as a quick "named range", you could setup multiple different named ranges and then when you want to set it as the Print Area simply click the Name Box drop down menu, select the range you want to set as the Print Area, Excel would highlight the area instantly and then go to Print Area > Set Print Area. Use the Name Manager to setup a named range or the Name Box if you are familiar with this method.

This method would allow you to switch between multiple different named ranges and set them as the print area where and when needed.
