I received the following message:
"This computer is not running genuine Windows.
To use Windows without interruption this computer needs to run genuine windows. With Genuine Windows you have access to all windows updates. It asks me to purchase a Genuine Windows 7.

The computer in question is an HP purchased 4 years ago. It was upgraded to a Genuine Professional Windows and I have the upgrade key.

Also, I checked the updates on this computer. It is completely updated.

It looks like this is a scam to trick me to make an unnecessary purchase.

The problem is, the message keeps popping up whenever I need to use the computer. Is there a way to get rid of the message?

I appreciate any ideas.
