Hi I have a shared file with another user and when I try to access the file it takes 5-7 minutes to load sometimes. While it is trying to load, Excel becomes non-responsive and sometimes dies while trying to load. This is not as bad as the second part of the issue, when it does decide to load there are some times where the file opens up and it is missing data. Mostly it is just a few lines which seem to be random, but a couple times it loaded with nothing in it. When the file is in protected mode, before I enable editing, everything is there and looks in order, but when I open to edit is when the data disappears. I contacted Microsoft and they suggested I re-install the program, but the issue just started about a week ago and worked fine before that.
Is my only option to re-install, or is there something else going wrong that I can sort out? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
