I think you can do this if I understand your wishes by putting in a RIGHT TAB on the ruler. My Word is '97 and it is a bit tricky. Right click on the ruler near to the right margin marker to create a tab position (a tiny bold L). You have to position cursor within the ruler carefully. Then aim your cursor at the new tab symbol and double right click and hopefully you will raise a tab dialogue. You can then type in a position for a tab and select Right under alignment. Click set. Clear any left tabs you have there You should now have a back-to-front L marking a right tab. In the Doc you should be able then to TAB your cursor right until you reach the right tab. Hopefully it has been made easier in your version. Alternatively insert a table and then remove its gridlines because you can align text in the columns independently. Hope it helps!
