Highlight row based on todays date problem
I have a basic time sheet with the 'Date' in column B (dddd dd/mm/yyyy), 'time in' in D, 'Lunch out' in E, 'Lunch in' in F and 'finish' in column G, columns D-G are in number format [H]:mm AM/PM I have already used conditional formatting to highlight the current day in column B using the =today() formula.
(column)B...............D..................E...... ...........F...................G
................ Date...........Time In........Lunch Out.......Lunch In..........Finish
Saturday 15/11/2014....07:30AM........12:00PM.........13:00pm.... .....17:30PM
Sunday 16/11/2014......08:30AM........12:00PM.........13:00PM.. ........21:00PM
How do I format columns D-G to do the same as Column B? so basically i want the row with today's date to be highlighted
I have tried this method below with no success so any other method would be great
First select all the cells in column D-G as far down as far as you have dates in column B.
Then, while holding down the CTRL button, select all the rows in column B with dates, starting from B2.
If the top cell that got date is B2, then use this formula in Conditional Formatting:
=$B2=TODAY()
Hope this makes sense.
