It seems to be such a simple operation, but till now my reading on various forums leads me to conclude that it may not be possible. Why not ? Or am I mistaken ? What's the problem ? At present, I use the Mp4 format.

Is there anyone out there able to give me an answer ? I'm wondering whether it's perhaps impossible to make a video part of a Powerpoint 2008 presentation, but I'd like to have confirmation about this from someone 'in the know'. Is it only Powerpoint 2013 that will allow you to do this ?
