Default Finding gaps in a programme

I'm putting together a programme for our painters to paint buildings.

The can only paint the buildings when the price has been agreed, which is different times of the year for different buildings - January, April and September so far.

So I've programmed 3 buildings after January, 5 buildings after April and 2 in September. The durations are different for each building but I've made it so as soon as they finish one building they start on the next.

How can I find out, quickly, either using a column or something indicative on the ganntt chart how much time is spare once the lads have finished painting please?

The way it lies at the moment is Januarys buildings are done by mid Feb, so I need to send the guys to paint or go mend something somewhere else til Aprils painting is ready to kick off, but I would like to see easily how many days there are between batches of painting.

Many thanks
