I have to admit that i did not know Ecco Pro and i took a look at it. This program is far more structured than OneNote. OneNote is definitly a note taking program in the widest word. You have all the freedom one wants for note taking. Ecco offers more structured sets of tasks you can apply. But having said that i think OneNote is the way to go (you can always try it out first).
