I have been working on a large document with a custom template for about a year. I have written significant code and assigned numerous custom keyboard shortcuts to the macros.

Today, after closing down and restarting Word, when I loaded the document, none of the custom keyboard shortcuts are working. I tried attaching a backup template from yesterday and the shortcuts worked. However, I did several revisions on the template today, and don't want to have to try to re-create them.

Other aspects of the template, such as AutoText items and the macros themselves, are all intact. It's only the keyboard shortcuts that are not working. All the special shortcuts I assigned have reverted to the normal settings. For example, I changed Ctrl-Enter to run a macro, and now it has reverted to InsertPageBreak.

Where, oh where, have my keyboard shortcuts gone? And is there any way to recover them?
