While you can do this with grow shrink animations personally I would take what5 seems to be more counter intuative and use separate slides each showing a stage of the story.

WHY?

Grow shrink just enlarges (or shrinks) pixels. Any lines will get thicker and text will pixillate. You might find this acceptable (I wouldn't) but it will look better on separate slides.

Second you will (probably) need to add a shrink on click to get the balloon back to its original size. This is harder than it seems as you need to do a little math(s) to work out the exact shrink %.
