To do that, you'd have to bookmark the text and, within the Excel object, set an external reference pointing to the document and its bookmark. Note that this would require the bookmark to be saved before the link to it could be established. Note also that moving the document to a different folder is liable to break the link and that it won't update unless you click on the embedded workbook to open it. Is there a particular reason for using an embedded workbook instead of a Word table for this?
