Default adjusting calendar for a task and viewing calendar day result

I have a task of 10 days, workdays. It has the normal calendar of 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. It is 0% complete right now. My tasks are effort driven and fixed units, so everything is as in default.
I also have a column for displaying calendar days. I had done that myself before with a formula and it is working fine.
So for my task of 10 days for example, that column shows 14 days
Here is my questions:
Question 1) When I change the calendar of that task, to a 24 hour calendar, the calendar day column shows 3 days.
When I change it to a 7 day calendar, the calendar day column shows 10 days.
But even if I choose fix duration or fixed work option and then make these changes, I still get the same outcome upon change. Should it not be different results?

Question 2) This one I did as experiment. I did not used “work” column in this schedule before so everything was zero. I inserted a work column, and for this task I assigned a random work amount of 100
But when I did the changes as stated above, the 100 never changed, for any option. Why?

Question 3) something is fixed for this task and when I change my calendars it is just dividing that fixed quantity to find the new calendar day duration. If it is fixed units, I don’t see a column for it. How can I see that fixed thing that the calculations are based upon? Also when I change to 24 hour calendar, would it not be 3.33 days? Why is it 3?
