A simple way of killing many, if not all, links is to use Ctrl-A, Shift-F9. Do note, though, that Shift-F9 breaks all links - including cross-references, hyperlinks, tables of contents, etc. If some of your linked objects are in textboxes or are formatted as floating objects, those links may not be broken via this method. You can also use Shift-F9 on a selection spanning one or more links, to break just the selected links.

IMHO, a better solution, though, would be to find out which links are causing problems, or whether you have a corrupt document or a faulty Office installation.

Assuming document corruption is the issue, these can often be 'repaired' by inserting a new, empty, paragraph at the very end, copying everything except that new paragraph to a new document based on the same template (headers & footers may need to be copied separately), closing the old document and saving the new one over it.

As for a faulty office installation, that can be repaired via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel.

After the document & Office repairs, the only likely links to be causing issues are those that point to files/data that can no longer be found.
