There are probably simpler ways but without seeing the problem document, it's hard to advise. The workaround I posted is a fairly brute-force approach:
1. Select and cut the entire content from the document
2. Insert an empty paragraph
3. Paste the cut content back into the start of the document
4. Go to the end of the document.
