I realise that my initial query wasn't clear in getting my problem across.

Whilst I can achieve the effect I want in an isolated file I cannot achieve this with a new template I am creating that uses a number list style and text styles that I have also created.

The attached file shows two paragraphs that look almost identical. The second one is what I am looking to achieve but is a screenshot of the first paragraph before it lost it's formatting. This occurred when I saved the file. The two images below the text are the settings that were used to create the paragraph.

This formatting was used successfully in earlier versions of Word without the glitch that I am now experiencing and I am baffled as to why the format changes and also what saving the file does to make this happen.

Does this look familiar to you and are you able to help?

Again, thanks in advance.
