Your question is clear enough, but I doubt that it is achievable. You can do it if you use VBA to insert the text, but typing will always take on the format at the cursor position.

Word formats using styles. It sounds as though this document may have been formatted manually, which can be a nightmare to handle when it comes to editing.

If you want the default text to be blue, then you should set the font colour of the underlying paragraph style to blue. You should also create character styles in red, black and green. You can the apply the appropriate style to the text you are typing.
