Most important to have better granularity control
I agree. The more that OneNote is used the more it becomes second nature to use it for everything.
Yes, quick note taking is great but I use it far more for collecting my thoughts and specifically for fleshing out plans, whether professional or personal. In this use, tab / indent granularity becomes a key factor when using Docked to Desktop mode.
Almost every page in OneNote becomes a live document that grows with age and is used as the index to my thoughts. Having to repeatedly drag the OneNote frame wider or horizontally scroll the docked frame to see meaningful content is very distracting to the process at hand. Shrinking tab/indent levels is the only way to get onenote function out of the way of using it.
Also, expand/collapse needs to work on bulleted lists and outlines overall and independently at specific levels.
