Hello friends,

I am attaching a file. Column A contains various dates and column B contains corresponding interest applied on such dates. I wish to get the sum of interest applied during a month as shown in D and E columns. Entries in D columns can be made manually by entering the first 2 entries and then drag down. Please help me with a suitable formula in E1 to drag down so as to get the total for each month, corresponding to each month-end
