Although the numbers might appear in the right margin, they'll be in frames or textboxes attached to the header. All you need to is to select & delete one of those frames or textboxes and both it an the page #s should disappear from all Section headers linked to the current one. If you have unlinked sections, you'll need to repeat the process for those sections.
