You could try: Copy and paste the image back into the image editing software (Adobe)?

Or, if all else fails, Print Screen the image in the word document, and then save it in you image editing software.

Rather rudimentary solutions, but if you can't think of anything better, hope this helps. Though I must add that I think once you manipulate an image in Word, you might have lost the quality and resolution of the original image file.
