Let's say I have one page with a lot of stuff on it, and I have the beginning of the page set up like this:

1: Topic A
2: Topic B
3: Topic C
etc.

Can I make it so if I click on "Topic A," it will direct me to where Topic A is located in the page?
Yes you can.
  • Highlight "Topic A" (or whatever its title is called) wherever it is in the document.
  • Right-click on it, and click the pop-up menu option "Copy link to paragraph" or something like that.
  • Go to the top of the page, highlight "Topic A" (or whatever the title is) and paste (Ctrl-V) what you just copied.
  • Now when you click on "Topic A" in your menu list, it will take you to that part of the page.

If it's a looong page with a lot of items, and you want an easy way to get back to the top, do this....
  • Create a page title: "My Big List", or whatever.
  • On another line type something like this: "Return to My Big List"
  • Highlight the page title and click "Copy link to paragraph"
  • Paste this over "My Big List" on the line "Return to My Big List"
  • Now select and copy "Return to My Big List" and paste it anywhere in the document that you want a link back to the top.
It took me a while to figure this out. Hope it works for you!
