Installed 64bit instead of 32bit office 2103 trial
We have an Access 2000 mdb file that we have to migrate to a new version.
We have two Win7pro 64bit and two XPpro 32bit machines, all running MSOffice 2000.
One of the 64bit machines is offsite, which is where I am giving the 2013 office a trial run, to create my task list for the migration.
I intend upgrading the two XP machines to Win7 as part of the chore.
HOWEVER...for some reason I mistakenly installed the 64bit version of the office 2013 trial...bad mistake.
I know I'll have to use the 32bit version of office on the two (xp) machines, so I don't know why I fazed on that one.
I need a method of uninstalling the 64bit version, to test drive the 32bit.
The usual uninstall routine does not work, nor the 'FixIt' thingy that MS offers.
I have read that to get this done I may have to Nuke'n'Pave the Win7 OS, but I am having difficulty understanding the need for such a drastic step.
Anyone have an idea?
Thanks for 'listening'...
