I'm down to a small enough font laterally - i.e. fits on landscape. I think I need compression vertically - to get fewer pages.

That 'copy text' thing sounds like the best bet to me. But I still don't know how to do it. Haven't actually tried yet. Haven't had time. Just snuck a quick look at the computer now...can't stay..
