query returns garbage after 255 chars from a text field
strMeetDirections = myActiveRecord3.Fields("Directions")
In my Word 2007 macro, the statement above returns a certain number of normal characters, and the rest of the string looks to be in some Asian language. "Directions" is a text field in SQL Server 2008 R2. I haven't a clue why part of the result appears as garbage. Could anyone help? I would appreciate it very much.
