Thanks for your reply! I looked at Tools in Word and PowerPoint documents and found the "Provide feedback with sound" options are already unchecked in both. For Excel there is no such option [at least for my laptop]. I also looked at Tools in "Save As" box in all three but there is no such option for sound.

So where could be the root of the problem? I am just so puzzled by this...
