Took a bit to figure out all the different settings but finally got it to work using the directory / catalog merge vs the letter merge.

I used to think I had a pretty good handle on merges. There are obviously some differences in the types of merges that are not readily apparent. Is there additional documentation that you would recommend that will help me understand things better? I'd like to move my knowledge to the "next level"
