After a table, there must always be another paragraph. If there's no text after the table, there'll be an empty paragraph there. What you can do in such cases is to ensure the trailing paragraph:
a) is formatted with 0 before/after spacing; and
b) has its font size set to 1pt and formatted as hidden
That should resolve the issue.
