Depends what you mean by Trigger. It has a specific meaning in PowerPoint but is often used wrongly.

A (real) trigger is when you have to click ON a shape to run the animation (instead of just clicking the mouse, space or enter etc.|)

If you mean this the ONLY keyboard shortcut that will work is TAB then ENTER. IF you have more than one trigger press TAB x times.
