Thanks for the reply, but that's not it.

I'm referring to the menu line "File Edit View Insert etc." -- not icons, but the menus attached to the word menus that you can get to via F10.

The menus you refer to bring up the menus with icons. I have tables and borders for that, but I once had the menu word "Tables" up at the top and cannot find out how to get it back.
