Hi jamesdann,

The process for Office 2013 is the same as for Office 2007, so the version differences are irrelevant. That said, transposing the data will require more than a simple copy/paste. Without knowing more about the data structure and how many files are involved, it's impossible to say what the most appropriate means will be. Manual processing isn't a given though.
