Default outlook cannot log into server to get mail

My Outlook was working fine until 11 Apr. Nothing (to my knowledge) has changed except that I connected via my hotel on that day to get my mail. Now that I am back home, I can no longer access my Gmail via outlook. The error message I get is (I have changed the login name to mylogin to keep my email private):

Task 'mylogin@earthlink.net - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for mylogin2@gmail.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for blossomvalleybeagleclub@gmail.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for mylogin3@gmail.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for GoodLuck.LongLife@gmail.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for mylogin4@gmail.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for scgroeschel@gmail.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for whim.beagles@gmail.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for mylogin5@gmail.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Can anyone help fix this or know what the problem is?
