What is happening is the conventional, OFFICIAL uninstall does NOT really do this--Uninstall, because it leaves stuff in your Windows Registry
What you have to do is use something like use the FREE Revo Uninstaller and then when asked do you want a complete Uninstall you do, and then click to uninstall ALL the registries so M$ no longer sees any sign a program is or WAS on your machine--Revo's Wizard will walk through the process
Now reinstall what you want
