Default Resource allocation with two overlapping tasks

I've searched all over for my an answer to this, and either it's not possible, or I've just not found the right answer to it.

I'm running two concurrent tasks in Project 2013.

Task 1 runs for 4 weeks
Task 2 runs for 3 days

I have two resources that will be 100% allocated to Task 1, except for the 3 days that they will also be allocated to Task 2, so a 50/50 split.
If I put the resources on Task 2 as 50%, they are shown over utilized for those three days where they are on both tasks simultaneously. (100% task 1, 50% task two)
If I change their percentage to 50% for Task 1 to resolve this, project then shows the resources only at 100% for the 3 days that they are assigned both tasks concurrently, and then only at 50% on Task 1 the rest of the time.

I'm sure there has to be a way that project can be set where I can show the three days that the resources are on both projects that they are 50/50 between each, and the other days they are 100% on Task 1.

Unfortunately I'm pretty new to project, so I can't seem to figure this out for the life of me, any help is greatly appreciated.
