Default Using two fonts without having to reset each time

Hello,

I've scoured the Internet trying to find out if this is even possible, but I haven't found my answer. I write TV show dialogue in all caps, but every now and then I have to include certain text (like descriptions of sound) in lowercase. These descriptions are saved as hotkeys so that I don't have to write them out every time. The upper and lower case worked just fine until I started using dictation software.

The dictation software doesn't respect the Caps Lock button. I have to go into Word tool options and click ALL CAPS ON, which is fine for the dialogue, but when I hit a hotkey for a phrase that should be in lowercase, it also comes out in uppercase, which is not what I want. I think there are two possible solutions:

1. Find a way to set the hotkey commands so that they appear the way they are saved, regardless of the ALL CAPS ON feature
2. Find a way to make the formatting of the hotkeys different from the formatting of the document. This way I could highlight all hotkeys (there's a way to highlight something in a Word document based on the kind of formatting) and just "Change Case", setting those phrases to lowercase in one move.

In either case, I notice that as you are writing text, it always takes on the formatting of what you just previously wrote, so if there's no way to turn that off, then I think no solution will work. The text font and formatting will always match the previous text. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!
