Default Asked to start a pmp after three months of work done

It's now Feb 17, 2014. The project was started on November 4, 2013 by a Not-For-Profit organization. The project is funded by government grant. Reporting requirements have to be adhered to as part of year-end reporting requirements on the project outcome and the costing. I was asked to use MS Project 2007 to layout the project management plan (pmp) from the start following the written plan. My question is: how do I input the start date (back date to Nov 4) and avoid messing up as ms project 2007 calculates and update as prompted as the project unfolds i.e. show the tasks already completed (showing milestone points) and report costing all to present date, and layout the rest of the pmp to estimated completion date (end date)?
