Thanks Stefan. I think I have a bit of mystery here. There are definitely some of my Word 2013 .docx files that show the 'non-sticking' behavior that I described. However, I sampled other .docx files and they do remember the ignored words. Can't quite put my finger on what the differences are between the two sets of files, but will do more research as I go.
