Hi nmn,

if you had Word's autosave function running, you'll only have lost whatever you'd edited after the last autosave (e.g if the autosave interval is 10 mins, that the most work you'll lose). Simply re-starting Word will be enough to initiate a recovery. Otherwise, you'll need to search through the *.tmp files on your system to find any containing your document. If you find some, simply changing their extensions to whatever file format you were using (e.g. doc, docx) should be enough for Word to recognize and open the file again.
