I've never experience the issue of the font shrinking when printing from Google Docs. There are a few options in Google Docs. The first you really need to look at would be the font size of your document. Anything less that 12 is going to be small for most people. You also have the fit to page and actual size options when printing. Experiment with those If all else fails you may want to try and download it then print it off that way.
