Default How to access all built-in styles for a template?

I need to make a lean, clean template to share with another org. I want to use as many built-in styles and MS standard names as possible, but I don't see how to access these. When I tried renaming "List Bullet Level 2" to "List Bullet 2", the message said this name is already in use as a built-in style, but I do not see how to get the built-in style if it is not already in the template.

Ideally I'd like to start with a Microsoft template that has all the built-in styles and nothing else. Does such a thing exist? (When I use Ctrl-N to make a new document, the collection of styles it has seems to be a small but random selection of styles from some of my templates.)
