Can't send e-mail, get error 0x80040119
Hi, I am running Outlook on two machines running Windows 8.1. On both machines, I am using IMAP protocol to connect to my e-mail account. From one of the machines, I can send e-mail with no problem. On the other machine--newly configured; I just updated to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7--I cannot send e-mails (I can receive e-mails with no problems). When I try to send an e-mail, I get the message
" Task 'yyy@xxx.com - Sending' reported error (0x80040119) : 'The message cannot be saved to your IMAP e-mail account Sent Items folder, because Outlook is offline or the e-mail server doesn’t allow items to be saved to the Sent Items folder.'"
When I configured this account in Outlook (and I when I repaired it after I first encountered the problem) Outlook is able to send a test massage with no problem. Do you have any idea what the problem might be or how I can fix it?
I searched threads for the error message number and was pointed to a KB article about problems with Outlook 2003. Since I am running Office 365, I don't think it applies.
TIA for your help
